This tablet is not indicated for children under 6 years of age and adults. As a result, its use is not recommended in pediatric patients.
This tablet is primarily used for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including urinary tract infections (UTIs) and upper and lower respiratory tract infections, particularly pediatric cases. It is also used for the treatment of children with ADHD.
AUGMENTIN (Augmentin) is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. Augmentin is a combination of two drugs: amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid are used together to treat infections caused by bacteria, such as pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis, ear infections, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections. Clavulanic acid is used to treat infections caused by certain types of bacteria, such as those caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, orMoraxella catarrhalis. The combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid works by stopping the growth and spread of bacteria, and by preventing the formation of bacteria, which will not be killed by amoxicillin alone. Amoxicillin is a beta-lactam antibiotic. It is used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria such as respiratory infections, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, and lower respiratory tract infections. Augmentin may be used alone or in combination with other drugs for the treatment of bacterial infections. It may also be used to treat other infections, such as lower respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae. Augmentin is a prescription medicine. If you are not sure whether you are taking amoxicillin or clavulanic acid, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The most common side effects of Augmentin are nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Augmentin should be used with a proper diet and exercise program. Do not take Augmentin more than once a day, and keep taking it for as long as prescribed by your doctor. The common side effects associated with the use of AUGMENTIN DUO 1GM TABLET are diarrhea, thrush (fungal infection in the vagina, skin folds, or mouth), nausea, and vomiting. Contact your doctor immediately if any of the symptoms worsen.
Addison's Disease - Inactinizing Inhibitory Pulsed SystemsAUGMENTIN DUO 1GM TABLET may increase the excipients in the formulation ofInactinizing systems, which are microorganisms that are not inhibited by the excipients in other formulations. AUGMENTIN DUO 1GM TABLET should not be used in patients with other bacterial infections, including in the case of urinary tract infections, bone and joint infections, septic abortion, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, or in patients suffering from liver or kidney impairment.
The presence of active microorganisms in the formulation of AUGMENTIN DUO 1GM TABLET may impair the microenvironment necessary for the antibacterial efficacy of AUGMENTIN DUO 1GM TABLET. AUGMENTIN DUO 1GM TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver problems or upon using other antibiotics as it may be effective against a wide range of bacteria. However, because in addition to its antibacterial effects, AUGMENTIN DUO 1GM TABLET may also exert other anti-bacterial effects, it is not recommended in these patient groups.
The excipients in AUGMENTIN DUO 1GM TABLET should be tested before use to determine if they are essential in its antibacterial activity. If the excipients in this product are not effective in treating bacterial infection(s), your doctor may change the dose of AUGMENTIN DUO 1GM TABLET.
The microbe-acturable Inactinizer system in this product is specifically designed for use in animals and should not be used by people who are allergic to penicillin or related products. Occasional use of this system may lead to the disruption of the bacterial equilibrium in the human body. The presence of active microbes in the system can impair the antibacterial activity of this product.
Augmentin DUO 1GM TABLET can decrease the efficacy of Augmentin Pediatric DropsThis product should be used with caution in patients with liver problems or upon using other antibiotics as it may lead to a decrease in the efficacy of the product. If you have severe diarrhea or stomach problems and are taking other medications, it is recommended that you do not take this product.
